DB Cargo Polska in the interest of safety
Technique of horizontal transport, demonstration of evacuation with use of ropes, principles of giving first aid and using lifesaving equipment during works at heights – those skills were trained on the area of DB Cargo Spedkol’s rail siding in Kędzierzyn Koźle
An employee runs out of steam during works on a tank wagon filled with dangerous substance. He collapses and as a result breaks his leg. It is required to evacuate him horizontally, give first aid and secure the tank wagon appropriately. This was a scenario of the training that took place on 27 April on the area of DB Cargo Spedkol’s rail siding in Kędzierzyn Koźle.
